To get started, head over to the Google Developers website, and the exact page needed can be found right here.

First you’ll need to select the user you wish to create the button for, in this example, I’ll be using my own page, however, you can easily create a button for yourself or any of your pages. You’ll then need to select if you wish to create either a button or a badge. The options differ slightly from here, although, they are majorly the same.

Alot of users should be content with the button already generated and should be able to take the snippet of code from the right and paste it straight onto your site. However, there is also the option to dive deeper into the advanced options.

From here you can choose the width of your widget, using the slider demonstrated above, aswell as the colour scheme, there’s only two basic options to choose from mind. Form here, there’s also the option to disable a few features in the code, but they shouldn’t effect you hugely.

It’s super easy to create a Google+ badge for your website. It will truly boost the amount of people you have in your circles, well worth a shot. Look out for more social integration tutorials on Young Web Builder.
